Assessment
We believe assessment should illuminate a child's growth, never reduce it to a number. In the formative years, we therefore have no formal examinations or grades at all. Instead, gentle, all-round, and continuous informal assessment , through everyday observation, activities, conversation, and portfolios of work ,ensures that no aspect of a child's development goes unnoticed: how they think and reason, create and express, question and explore, and relate to those around them. This keeps the early years joyful and free of pressure, while giving teachers and parents an honest, well-rounded picture of each child's progress and the encouragement they need.
As students move into the senior grades, assessment evolves with them. Through regular, varied, and increasingly structured tasks, we steadily build the knowledge, discipline, and self-assurance they need to meet the important examinations and milestones that lie ahead , always valuing genuine understanding over memorisation. Step by step, our students learn not to fear assessment, but to approach it with clarity, preparation, and quiet confidence.
